VOCABULARY #6

1.) Construction(noun)- The building of something, typically a large structure: There was a skyscraper under construction.
2.) License(Noun)- A permit from an authority to own or use something: I just got my drivers license.
3.) Occupancy(Noun)- The action or fact of occupancy a place: The house is finally ready for occupancy.
4.) Undergo(Verb)- Experience or be subjected to (something, typically something unpleasant, painful, or arduous): The body underwent a life-saving brain operation.
5.) Technical(Adjective)- Of or relating to a particular subject, art, or craft, or it's techniques: There many ways to test an artists technical skill.
6.) Professional(Adjective)- Of, relating to, or connected with a profession: Young professional athletes make over a million dollars.
7.) Commercial(Adjective)- Making or intended to make a profit: Pepsi must sell a variety of commercial products.
8.) Dimensional(Noun)- An aspect or feature of a situation, problem, or thing: Sun-dried tomatoes add a new dimension to this sauce.
9.) Accuracy(Noun)- The quality or state of being correct or precise: We have confidence in the accuracy of the statistics.
10.) Qualified(Adjective)- Officially recognized as being trained to perform a particular job; certified: Newly qualified nurses.
11.) Relevant(Adjective)- Closely connected or appropriate to the matter at hand: The candidate's experience is relevant to the job.
12.) Structural(Adjective)- Of, relating to, or forming part of the structure of a building or other item: The blast left ten buildings with major structural damage.
13.) Specialists(Noun)- A person who concentrates primarily on a particular subject or activity; a person highly skilled in a specific and restricted field: When I broke my finger I had to go to an Orthopedic specialist.
14.) Regulations(Noun)- A rule or directive made and maintained by an authority: Security had to make planning regulations before they went on duty.
15.) Contractor(Noun)- A person or company that undertakes a contract to provide materials or labor to perform a service or to do a job: The hotel couldn't open for business until they ordered a contractor.
16.) Limitations(Noun)- A limiting rule or circumstance; a restriction: We have severe limitations on water use.
17.) Expertise(Noun)- Expert skill or knowledge in a particular field: To fix an engine like that takes technical expertise.
18.) Institute(Noun)- A society or organization having a particular object or common factor: The institute of advanced studies has offered you a scholarship.
19.) Engineers(Noun)- A person who designs, builds, or maintains engines, machines, or public works: To fix a ruined car like that takes a mechanical engineer.
20.) Program(Noun)- A series of future events, items, or performances: We have a weekly programs of films planned for next week.

  1. Your blog is nice, simple to see and is up to date. Your information is great but you should add a little more color to make it more attractive and not so bland but other than that, it is great!
